This is direct degree entry, which needs a completed Grade 12 or an accepted foundation year — an eleven-year certificate is not enough on its own. Our separate Bristol foundation route is not yet open.

Pathway from Central Asia — Foundation year required first

UK universities do not accept the 11-year certificate for direct entry: plan an International Foundation Year (typically IELTS 5.0–6.0 to enter), A-levels or IB first. Most universities here run or endorse their own foundation programme.

One programme, and three conditions on it. It is a Master of Laws by Research, so it suits a law graduate and nobody else. It is not currently available to Tajik nationals through this channel. And it states a FOUR-YEAR bachelor's as the minimum, so a three-year degree does not qualify.

£3,500 to £9,000 off tuition at the Southampton ONCAMPUS centre, applied automatically with your admission. Whether Central Asian nationals are eligible is not published — we ask the centre before you count on it. The centre's English bar is IELTS 5.0.

UK Government (FCDO)

The UK government's global scholarship for one-year Master's degrees: full tuition, living allowance and flights. Requires work experience (typically 2+ years) and leadership potential. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are all eligible countries.

  • Completed bachelor's degree
  • Typically 2+ years of work experience (2,800 hours)
  • Return to home country for 2 years after the award
  • Unconditional UK master's offer needed by the award deadline

  • English at IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in every component, or an accepted equivalent — this one IS published by Chevening and is a hard gate.
  • Two years of qualifying work experience before you apply.
  • Three UK master's course choices, plus an unconditional offer from one of them by the stated deadline.

Uzbekistan's flagship government scholarship, funding citizens for Bachelor's, Master's and PhD study at leading foreign universities. Covers full tuition, a monthly living stipend and travel. Admission to a top-ranked university is required — T100U prepares your Top 100 admission and your full scholarship dossier together.

  • Post-study work commitment in Uzbekistan applies — confirm current terms

Bright Talent Project (El-Yurt Umidi)

A newer El-Yurt Umidi direction that selects talented youth from every mahalla — including students from lower-income families — prepares them through preparatory courses and sends them to matching foreign universities.

Bolashak International Scholarship

Kazakhstan's flagship presidential scholarship for full-time degrees at leading foreign universities, with tuition and living costs covered. Independent admission to a qualifying university is required first — exactly what T100U delivers.

  • Independent (unconditional) admission to a university on Bolashak's approved list is required BEFORE applying
  • Kazakh and foreign-language proficiency tests at selection
