• Citizens of countries with a Japanese embassy MEXT quota — UZ/KZ/TJ/KG qualify
• Undergraduate track: typically age 17–24 with 12 years of schooling (11-year certificate cases assessed individually — ask us first)
• Written exams (math/English/science per track) + interview at the embassy

Who can apply

• Recognised secondary qualification - nostrification of the foreign certificate is required
• Czech language at the level the programme demands, normally reached through the preparatory year
• English-taught alternatives are available at the same universities for a fee

Where and how to apply

Apply to the preparatory language year first, then to the degree programme. Certificate nostrification is the step that most often delays a Czech application - begin it before anything else.

Who can apply

• A recognised university entrance qualification - an 11-year certificate is not sufficient on its own and normally requires a Studienkolleg or foundation year first
• Proof of funds in a blocked account for the student visa
• Language: English-taught programmes need IELTS or equivalent; German-taught need roughly B2-C1
• Health insurance is mandatory

• German-taught degrees require a German test — TestDaF or DSH. This is the real barrier and it takes a year or more to reach from zero.
• English-taught master's require an English test; the band is set by the university, not by any central body.
• A blocked account (Sperrkonto) proving living funds is required for the visa, separately from any language result.

Most public universities admit through uni-assist; a few apply directly. The blocked account and the embassy appointment are the two items that decide your timeline, so start them early.

• Independent (unconditional) admission to a university on Bolashak's approved list is required BEFORE applying
• Kazakh and foreign-language proficiency tests at selection
• Work-back obligation in Kazakhstan after graduation (typically 3–5 years, secured by collateral) — confirm current terms

• Selection runs through regional stages — no university admission needed at entry
